Moving to subscription: Syspro’s commitment to continuous innovation

AI is actively reshaping manufacturing and distribution. The businesses pulling ahead are operating on platforms where AI has the context to act. Why subscription

The shift from Annual Licence Fee to subscription reflects a fundamental change in how enterprise software creates value. It is no longer about owning seats or modules. It is about providing customers with a platform that continuously delivers to the people and processes that depend on it. It allows us to bring all of your data and processes into a single Platform that will enable the AI capability we’re building to be effective.

Subscription is the model that lets Syspro deliver on that standard. Regular updates, expanding AI capabilities, and a platform that evolves with the business. Customers stay on current software as a matter of course, without the cost or disruption of periodic upgrade projects.

What it means for customers

Syspro is moving to a subscription-only model. Annual Licence Fees will no longer be available for new or existing customers. At the expiry of the current Annual Licence Fee term, customers will convert to subscription automatically; however, we would encourage converting earlier for maximum value.

This is a change in how we package and license our product, not a technical one. Existing deployments, configurations, integrations, and data remain exactly as they are. We respect that customers are at different stages of their digital transformation, and we are not forcing them to the Cloud through this change as other vendors have. We can, of course, offer a migration to the Cloud should they prefer.

In subscription, every customer receives full product entitlement across all active Syspro modules, access to Syspro’s growing AI capabilities for production, supply chain, and sales operations, Syspro Insights for real-time operational visibility, and named-user licensing that scales predictably with the business.  We now also include Support as part of this subscription.

Subscription also changes the nature of the relationship. Syspro’s customer success and support model is built around proactive engagement. Not just resolving issues but ensuring customers are getting measurable value from the platform on an ongoing basis. The goal is a relationship where trust is earned continuously.
