To Our Valued Customers
We want to give you clear, early and formal notice of a change to how Syspro licenses its software. We communicated this change to customers by email earlier this year and this letter provides formal written notice of that change. It is also intended to give you time to plan ahead, consider your options, and ask questions before your current licence reaches its expiry date.
What is changing
Syspro is discontinuing the Initial License Fee and Annual License Fee model. Going forward, Syspro software will only be available under a named-user, subscription-based platform model. This applies to all customers.
What this means for your current licence
Your existing licence is not affected by this notice. It remains valid and fully in force until your individual renewal date. Everything you have paid for continues as normal. Your access, your support, and your entitlements are unchanged up to and including that date.
This notice does not modify your current agreement in any way. It is advance information so you can plan ahead.
What happens at your renewal date
From your renewal date, the Initial License Fee and Annual License Fee model will no longer be available. If you wish to continue using Syspro software after that point, you will need to enter a new subscription agreement.
Under the subscription model, you get access to the full Syspro module entitlement, not just the modules in your current licence. That is a material improvement in what you receive.
If you decide not to continue using Syspro in light of the change to subscription model, you should plan to transition to an alternative solution before your renewal date, as after that date you will no longer be able to access Syspro software. Your partner or account manager can help you think through your options and timing.
Your data
On expiry of your current licence, you have the right to export your data. Syspro will provide a straightforward process for this on request. Please raise this with your account manager ahead of your renewal date if it is relevant to your planning. If you move to the subscription model, your data will continue to be available to you within the Syspro platform without interruption.
What happens next
We urge you to address this as soon as possible. Contact your Syspro account manager or certified partner to understand your renewal date, review your subscription options, and ensure your business is not affected by any interruption to access or support.
