To Our Valued Customers
We want to give you clear, early notice of a change to how Syspro licenses its software. We communicated this change to customers by email earlier this year. This communication provides formal notification by Syspro[1] of the termination of your current arrangement and gives you time to plan ahead and ask questions before anything affects your account.
What is changing
Syspro is discontinuing the Initial License Fee and Annual License Fee model. Going forward, Syspro software will only be available under a named-user, subscription-based platform model. This applies to all customers.
What this means for your current licence
Your existing licence remains valid and fully in force until your individual expiry date, being 31 October 2026 for customers located outside the U.S. and 31 December 2026 for customers located in the U.S. Everything you have paid for continues as normal. Your access, your support, and your entitlements are unchanged through to that date.
If your agreement with Syspro has no fixed expiry date, and instead continues until terminated by either party, this notice constitutes formal written notice that Syspro is terminating your agreement under that provision. Termination will take effect on 31 October 2026 (for customers located outside the U.S.) and 31 December 2026 (for customers located in the U.S.).
This notice does not modify your current agreement in any way. It is advance information so you can plan ahead.
What happens from your expiry date (that is, from 1 November 2026 for customers located outside the U.S. and 1 January 2027 for customers located in the U.S.)
From your expiry date, the Annual License Fee model will no longer be available. To continue using Syspro after that point, you will need to enter a new subscription agreement with us.
Under the new subscription model, you get access to the full Syspro module entitlement, not just the modules in your current licence. This is a material improvement in what you receive.
If you decide not to move to the subscription model, you should plan to transition to an alternative solution before 31 October 2026 (for customers located outside the U.S.) or 31 December 2026 (for customers located in the U.S.), as after it you will no longer be able to access Syspro. Your partner or account manager can help you think through your options and timing.
Your data
On cessation of your current licence, you have the right to export your data. Syspro will provide a straightforward process for this on request. Please raise this with your account manager ahead of 31 October 2026 (for customers located outside the U.S.) or 31 December 2026 (for customers located in the U.S.) if it is relevant to your planning.
A note on Initial License Fees
If you paid an Initial License Fee when you first came onto the Syspro platform, that fee was for the licensed term covered at the time. It does not carry forward as a perpetual right to access the software after your expiry date. If you have specific questions about your history with us, please speak to your partner or account manager directly.
What happens next
We urge you to address this as soon as possible. Contact your Syspro account manager or certified partner to understand your expiry date, review your subscription options, and ensure your business is not affected by any interruption to access or support.
