Innovative Technology Banks on Sales Increase with Integrated Syspro Solution

Founded in 1992, Innovative Technology is a market leader in the provision of banknote validation solutions for the amusement, gaming, vending, retail, and kiosk markets. Its cash-handling equipment enables customers to automate cash payments: multi-coin hoppers, banknote validators and recyclers that handle millions of transactions every day for some of the world’s leading companies. With commercial operations across the globe, the operation spans two manufacturing sites, a rapidly expanding R&D center and a network of more than 25 trading partners.  

Syspro, CRM and QlikView held dedicated workshops with Innovative Technology’s internal IT team to ensure the rapid, successful implementation of the integrated solution. This enabled the internal team to handled much of the process. Staff dedicated the next six to 12 months bedding in the new system and familiarizing themselves with its rich functionality.  
 
As part of this journey, Innovative Technology recognized the need for an additional production control module to enable sales orders to be assigned to the office where they were issued, regardless of location. Syspro developed a system to meet this need and integrated it into the complete solution.  
 

The new Microsoft CRM system links seamlessly to customer records in Syspro, delivering a major productivity boost to the sales and customer service teams. An online configuration tool is speeding up sales order processing even further by quickly and accurately configuring the company’s range of industry standard products to suit individual customer requirements. 
 
The CRM system has also significantly increased Innovative Technology’s reach to potential customers by enabling quick registration at trade shows. The office-based marketing team is able to send detailed sales information to prospects while they are still at the event. The workflow module automatically sets up a new account for the enquiry in the sales order processes running in Syspro and back office staff are alerted to carry out follow-up visits. 
 
Further, QlikView delivers crucial business intelligence to better drive bottom-line decision making, while the integration of reporting software into Syspro and CRM enables regular reports to be generated across the entire business.  
 
Innovative Technology created a budgeting system that backs onto its CRM system. Customer budgets from all the international offices are now driven through the CRM solution and the information is channeled into QlikView for reporting.

Innovative Technology can now channel all company data through a single solution. The ability to generate regular sales reports for each office from its UK base has given the company seamless visibility of worldwide company data and significantly streamlined its sales processes.
