Founded in 1992, Innovative Technology is a market leader in the provision of banknote validation solutions for the amusement, gaming, vending, retail, and kiosk markets. Its cash-handling equipment enables customers to automate cash payments: multi-coin hoppers, banknote validators and recyclers that handle millions of transactions every day for some of the world’s leading companies. With commercial operations across the globe, the operation spans two manufacturing sites, a rapidly expanding R&D center and a network of more than 25 trading partners.
Syspro, CRM and QlikView held dedicated workshops with Innovative Technology’s internal IT team to ensure the rapid, successful implementation of the integrated solution. This enabled the internal team to handled much of the process. Staff dedicated the next six to 12 months bedding in the new system and familiarizing themselves with its rich functionality.
As part of this journey, Innovative Technology recognized the need for an additional production control module to enable sales orders to be assigned to the office where they were issued, regardless of location. Syspro developed a system to meet this need and integrated it into the complete solution.
Innovative Technology can now channel all company data through a single solution. The ability to generate regular sales reports for each office from its UK base has given the company seamless visibility of worldwide company data and significantly streamlined its sales processes.
Innovative Technology operates from multiple sites in the UK, Germany, Spain, China and Brazil, all of which previously operated independently. The company’s existing solution lacked the capacity to support its strong business growth, creating a need for a fully integrated solution.
By integrating Syspro with Microsoft CRM and QlikView Business Intelligence software, Innovative Technology streamlined its entire operation to manage multisite data from its base in the UK. The objectives were to improve customer service and sales reports, enhance the lead generation process, and to be able to add functionality to the solution through customization.
