Purpose:

The Services Manager is responsible for service efficiency by providing leadership, facilitation and coordination between internal and external stakeholders.

A key focus for the Service Manager will be the utilization of agreed methodologies (IDEAL) to ensure the required prioritization is achieved through the planning, design, and execution processes to advance the productivity and efficiency within teams and across the organization ensuring successful implementations.

Another focus will be to achieve service efficiency through process optimization, implementation of a standardised toolset, and service quality management. The emphasis is placed on solution health and proactive intervention to assist customers get the most out of their technology investments.

This is a strategic role and is critical in ensuring high customer satisfaction and value realization.  This will be achieved through quality service delivery and transforming the underlying delivery organization and processes to be more modular and configurable to customer needs.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Strategic Framework

  • Support the Chief Services Officer to research and implement innovative service solution strategies
  • Define best practice services and guide the Global Services team to achieve high quality service standards
  • Develop programmes, toolsets and strategies to assist our Partners in building customer relationships that generate long-term business value and competitive advantage
  • Develop frameworks that enables the services supply chain with knowledge and skills required to deliver a quality service

Quality Service Delivery

  • Develop and implement tools that enable SYSPRO to provide leading edge services globally
  • Ensure all services teams are operating according to the vision and values of SYSPRO
  • Effectively monitor and manage risk and communicate risk and strategies with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure continued improvement principles throughout the Services team globally

Relationship Management

  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to services teams
  • Build effective and ongoing relationships with Regional Services; Corporate Development, Sales and Marketing
  • Influence and motivate regional services teams through the use of appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to help reach objectives while considering the needs and potential contributions of others, thus gaining the support and acceptance of all parties to achieve objectives.

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of consulting experience with a major consulting, technology or professional services firm.

Purpose:

The Software Developer is responsible to work as part of the software development team to perform software development. The responsibility includes errors correction, and enhancements to the SYSPRO product. To perform analysis where required to assist in problem solving or decision making. To comply with the SYSPRO software development methodology to perform unit testing and document any changes made to the SYSPRO product.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Operational:

  • Manage personal Errtrk inbox
  • Ensure to have a good understanding of the Agile methodology to participate fully in each Sprint and to manage own tasks.
  • Actively participate in group code reviews and ensure to do the relevant preparation for the review to give suitable input.
  • Participate in project meetings and ensure that originally planned project timelines are achieved.
  • Review the project specifications for comprehensiveness and give input on potential inadequacies as well as translate deliverables and update project documentation and contribute to decision making during project

Technical:

  • Effectively utilise development tools and become a recognized technical expert in several fields

Education and qualification:

  • Senior Certificate with Core Maths or NQF 4 equivalent

Purpose:

The Tester is responsible for evaluating software programs according to the SYPRO Test Methodology and reporting any problems that arise. The incumbent will prepare and run a series of planned tests on new as well as existing software programs. The purposes of these tests will be to evaluate the results prior to release.  The primary objective is to ensure the quality of the product.

(Note: It is important to note that a junior or intern test analyst would need to comply with exactly the same role as a test analyst, with the understanding that it would be an evident lower proficiency level.)

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Operational

  • Manage personal Errtrk Inbox to ensure that errors are dealt with timeously.
  • Manage and update personal scrum box for the scheduling of allocated error and project work and ensure that a Sprint is created using the appropriate tool, that Tasks for the next Sprint are captured before the Sprint starts, running the Scrum (daily ‘stand-up’) and to review the end of Sprint.
  • Perform or assist in test case reviews by arranging and coordinating the Test Reviews with other relevant testers, advise which tests will be reviewed and ensure that the Test Review proceeds correctly.

Technical

  • Able to perform data handling, perform functions within SQL Administration and understand and verify Security.
  • Perform tasks in line with the project environment.
  • Impose user interface standard by displaying Custom Forms, testing Multi Media Configuration, VBScript, set up tasks and run automation.

Education and qualification:

  • ISTQB software testing certification
  • At least one tertiary technical IT qualification (Advantage)
  • Relevant qualification for example Financial CPIM, CSCP or PPIM (Advantage)

Experience:

  • Min 5 years’ experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Min 1 year appropriate testing experience
    (Note: Every three years of business experience would be counted as the equivalent of 1 year testing experience.)
  • Previous experience or understanding of development methodologies and principles will be advantageous

Purpose:

Responsible for the commercial design, modelling and implementation of financial and commercial frameworks, systems, processes and control measurements within the scope of strategic and key operational projects managed by SYSPRO Africa. This position involves the co-ordination across functions, disciplines and regions within the SYSPRO Group to achieve the business objectives. This person must be able to function within a project team but also as a specialist in the field of commercial finance. The role is both strategic as well as tactical / “hands-on”.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Strategic Framework

  • Evaluate, develop and implement commercial and business practices for the Africa region that supports the strategy of SYSPRO Group in conjunction with the MD: Africa and SYSPRO Corporate CFO.
  • Advise on the overall SYSPRO Africa strategy in collaboration with the MD: Africa and relevant executive team stakeholders.
  • Manage the planning, forecasting and budgeting processes and provide the required insight and analysis to support effective decision-making

Delivering sound financial insights

  • Provide business acumen, modelling and frameworks to key stakeholders involved in the implementation of the SYSPRO Corporate Strategy and key operational projects.
  • Provide financial and commercial support to strategic sales teams in global and/or complex deals.

Financial Vision

  • Design, adopt and install processes, systems and structures that would drive and sustain the alignment of financial and strategic goals.
  • Conduct special projects and key initiatives in finance and relevant operations that supports SYSPRO Africa strategic goals and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial and operation processes and controls.

Financial Control and Governance

  • Manage financial processes and controls to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.
  • Liaise with SYSPRO (Pty) Ltd Financial manager to ensure timely, accurate and relevant financial reporting
  • Contract assurance relating to all SYSPRO Africa’s internal and external legal matters.

Communication with Stakeholders

  • Facilitate alignment of strategic intent between the various SYSPRO Africa departments by representing the company’s progress on financial goals
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives

Education and qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant / MBA / CIMA
  • B-degree, preferably in financial, marketing or industrial engineering areas

Experience:

The role requires a candidate who is extremely proactive and dynamic. Someone who can engage and influence key Regional stakeholders Responsible for developing and implementing worldwide channel marketing programs, demand/lead generation programs, the development and management of  the worldwide partner portal/website, and supporting Channel Partners Marketing/ Sales/ Product Management activities.
