Rob Hurry first joined SYSPRO as a student doing vacation work while completing his degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2008, after graduating,he decided to join SYSPRO full-time. He is currently the Development Manager for Product Innovation and recently completed his MBA along with a semester long exchange in Milan, Italy. Rob is passionate about how new technologies can be used to make software more approachable and make people’s lives easier. When time allows, Rob can be found brewing beer, swimming or playing a game of touch rugby.

For the past year or so I’ve been a loyal customer of a booming barbershop near the SYSPRO head office. I only realized recently that none of the barbers are able to speak English. It made me wonder how they had been able to build a successful business relying on clear communication with this direct impediment. (more…)
