SYSPRO Wins Bronze Award at 2014 American Business Awards
Category -“Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Software – 100 or More Employees”
COSTA MESA, Calif – FEBRUARY 25, 2014 SYSPRO, a provider of best-of-breed, award-winning enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for on premise and cloud-based utilization, announced today that the company is a Bronze American Business Award ("Stevie") Winner in the category: Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Software – 100 Or More Employees.
More than 1,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year's competition, an increase of 36% over 2013. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 129 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges.
Entries were considered in 43 categories for customer service and contact center achievements, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year; 43 categories for sales and business development achievements, ranging from Senior Sales Executive of the Year to Sales Training or Coaching Program of the Year to Sales Department of the Year; and categories to recognize new products and services and solution providers.
The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, February 21 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. More than 400 nominated customer service and sales executives from the U.S.A. and several other countries attended.
SYSPRO has a customer retention rate of 98%, one of the highest, if not the highest, in the software industry. While this high customer retention rate can be attributed to the excellence and ease-of-use of SYSPRO ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Software, this high rate can also be attributed to the stringent customer relations program in place at SYSPRO.
The company's fully staffed Customer Relations Department, which reports directly to SYSPRO USA Company President, Joey Benadretti, follows an exacting program, developed over the years to anticipate and fulfill customer needs.
While elevating customer satisfaction is the responsibility of the SYSPRO Customer Service staff, customer relations and retention are also the responsibilities of every SYSPRO employee, stresses Benadretti, noting, "Our success is based on the success of our customers. The well-regarded SYSPRO Customer Service Program and high customer retention rates have also been the subject of advisories by software industry analysts, the most recent being an opinion write up by IDC Analyst Mary Wardley, who notes: "The 'century of the customer' has centered on increasing customer experience and, powered by social media, is motivating organizations to invest in their customer-handling infrastructure."
Wardley concludes: "SYSPRO is exemplary of a company that exemplifies the 'culture, strategy, and processes' component of IDC's CX taxonomy . . . "
