Key Features and Functions

Item and Lot Reservations

SYSPRO provides for the reservation of stock at the time a sales order is entered into the system, enabling accurate order promising and delivery estimates. Furthermore, for lot traceable items the system provides for the optional automatic depletion of lots (based on oldest receipt date or earliest expiry date) at the time of order entry, thereby enabling the reservation of lot numbers for specific order lines.

Product Recall

SYSPRO streamlines the extraction of information required for product recalls. It includes the facilities to trace items from raw material origins to customer, and vice versa, as well as the ability to identify the processor of every transaction or data change associated with the item, via Electronic Signatures. Full upward and downward searches and extraction of the integrated traceability data is provided by SYSPRO's queries, and standard and user-defined reports.

Promotions Management

SYSPRO's promotions management covers the overseeing and control of promotions, special offers and rebates. Promotions can take the form of temporary price reductions taken off the invoice, monies accrued for redemption by the customer and special offer goods at no cost (such as 'buy one get one free programs') or at minimal cost (such as the 'buy one, get the second one at half price' programs). In addition, promotional pricing, in the form of single level price reductions, can be applied to a company's list price based on the units of measure purchased by a customer. All promotions can have valid on and off dates and each promotion granted can be recorded for analysis purposes.

Quality Management

The SYSPRO Quality Management System provides a mechanism to ensure that certain levels of quality are provided by everyone in the supply chain. Defined inspection requirements can be executed at pre-defined collection points and the Material Review Board feature facilitates non-conformance reporting, decision-making and inspection statistics.

Sales order customer rules

These rules cater for the application of processing constraints in various order-processing environments. They include controls for minimum order values, full-order-only shipping, small order penalties and the specification of different delivery addresses per order line.
